Patrol Police Officers Riding GW250J Stunned Jingzhou
At 11 a.m., December 19th, 2012, the launching ceremony for the establishment of Jingzhou’s Motor Police Team was announced to begin by Zhou Zhenwu, Director of Jingzhou Public Security Bureau and Deputy Secretary of Jingzhou Municipal Commission of Politics and Law. The Motor Police Team, consisting of 21 SWAT officers, immediately started their performance of motorcycle riding. The team is dedicated to handle the growing snatch cases at the end of the year, to improve public security and satisfaction.
As the alarm sounded, the team members in a neat line-up started their motorcycles. They showed quick reaction in performing a series of drills, including group circumvention, guard formation, slalom and emergency braking. With the engine thundering, the 21 team members rushed out of the yard on their GW250J, embarking on a new journey for combating illegal activities and crimes.
The team will be responsible for dealing with emergencies and serious cases, conducting daily patrols around busy and high-risk areas during rush hours, as well as preventing and combating street crimes. Patrolling on motorcycles is more flexible and enables patrollers to arrive at the scene more quickly through a heavy traffic. Moreover, with its deterrent effect on potential criminals, the team helps to safeguard the community from violence and disorders. (Source: www.cnchu.com)
