How It Works

DCP-FI is the newest motorcycle fuel injection system developed by Mikuni Corporation, which has obtained 12 patents in Japan for this invention.

The DCP-FI system contains seven types of electronic sensors, including intake air pressure sensor, intake air temperature sensor, throttle position sensor, oxygen sensor, crankshaft position sensor and engine temperature sensor, which enable a series of ECU calculations based on the operating state of the motorcycle and the behavior of the rider. With precise control of the air-fuel ratio and ignition timing, it helps to achieve greater engine power, higher combustion efficiency, less fuel consumption and cleaner emission.
